OASBO 2026: Continuing the Conversation with Ontario’s Education Community

Reflecting on shared challenges, meaningful connections, and what comes next

The recent OASBO conference, held at the Sheraton Fallsview hotel in Niagara, gave us an exciting opportunity to connect with educational leaders, operations teams, and staff from across Ontario, and to have real conversations around communication, technology, security, and operational support within schools and school boards.

One of the biggest takeaways from the event? That so many organizations are navigating similar challenges; balancing communication, security, operational demands, and staff support, while working toward systems that are practical and sustainable over the long-term.

The experience was also a valuable opportunity to share our working successes in highly secure environments, including municipalities and community health centers across Ontario. Many of these conversations naturally connected back to education, particularly around the tech of governance, communication, and long-term operational support.

What stood out most to us? The willingness to collaborate. There was a strong sense that organizations are looking to learn from one another, share ideas, and build better, more sustainable processes together.

As an organization dedicated to the supporting mission led organizations that enrich and empower the communities they operate in, it was an exciting opportunity to step out from behind the screen and engage with the people and personalities, that use the technology we deliver daily.

As for us, we are always innovating with the new tools, tech, and even toys, that make our work exciting and our service essential to the teams we serve.
